Angelitos Health Care was founded on July 6, 1996.

Accreditations
CHAP Accreditation
After a flawless Medicare survey in fall 2009, Angelitos Health Care applied for accreditation from the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP). CHAP is a non-profit accrediting body that recognizes "excellence in community practice." CHAP audited the agency using 3,500 different conditions, including the CHAP "Standards of Excellence." The agency passed with flying colors. The agency has also received a commendation for "Strategic Planning."Angelitos Health Care sought this recognition voluntarily as a step toward realizing a vision of benchmark achievement, regulatory compliance, and a "measurable" quality of service to customers.
CHAP announced on April 20, 2010 that Angelitos Health Care, Inc. has been awarded CHAP accreditation under the CHAP Home Health Standards of Excellence.
CHAP is an independent, not-for-profit, accrediting body for community-based health care organizations. Created in 1965, CHAP was the first to recognize the need and value for accreditation in community-based care. CHAP is the oldest national, community-based accrediting body with more than 5,000 agencies currently accredited nationwide.
